A delightful ball filled with sand - a doorstop. Using only factory off-cut fabrics, it has green credentials.
A stylish addition to the home, with its carry handle it can also be used as an exercise dumbell to flex those muscles.
With its perfect size, another use is as a beach pillow, carried empty to be filled with sand at the beach.
Thumbthing
The Thumbthing was invented in 1997. People have tried to copy or adjust the design, but imitators are unaware that an inventor experiments with a range of prototypes before settling on a final design. Many of the imitations are inferior prototypes that were experimented with and discarded years ago.
